Bangladesh Post Office arranged a meeting on their third National Philatelic Exhibition, "Banglapex 2003". This first meeting on Banglapex 2003 was held om 1^st April at the PMG Committee room, GPO, Dhaka at 11 PM. The meeting was precided over by Md. Mujibar Rahman, Director General, Bangladesh Post Office. Dr. Kazi Shariful Alam, President of BPF, Aminul Haque Mallick (BNPA), Arif Khandakar (BNPA), A.T.M. Anowarul Quader (PAB), Siddique Mahmudur Rahman (BIPS), Nasimul Islam (BNPA), Mohammed Monirul Islam (BPF), S.M. Abdus Salam, PMG, central circle, Dhaka, Abdul Momen Chowdhury (Planning) and other officials of Bangladesh Post Office and also other renown philatelist attended the meeting. They all discussed about the date and venue and the involvement of all Philatelic Association’s with collaboration with the Federation with the Bangladesh Post Office.

The venue is not yet finalized but the time is on October probably on 9^th October 2003. There were two committee formed. One is worked for venue selection and other for check list of Banglapex 2003. Every thing will be finalized in the next meeting, which will be held on 15^th April 2003 at PMG committee room, Dhaka- 1217, GPO at 2PM.
